KSE Network Operations Center (KNOC), the production and distribution facility for Kroenke Sports & Entertainment (KSE) network properties, located in Centennial, CO, has chosen IPV Curator for its MAM system. Installed and integrated by StorExcel™, Curator will be used by production teams that create content for the Altitude Sports & Entertainment channel which broadcasts live and studio-based programming of the KSE-owned franchises. These include the Denver Nuggets (NBA), Colorado Avalanche (NHL), Colorado Rapids (MLS) and Colorado Mammoth (NLL) as well as regional collegiate and high school events.

Vencore selects StorExcel to deliver NASA's New Content Management & Storage System based on Quantum's StorNext Platform

(NYSE: QTM) today announced that its StorNext® scale-out storage platform will serve as the foundation for NASA’s new Content Management & Storage System (CM&S) at the Kennedy Space Center (KSC). Vencore Inc., the prime contractor on the KSC Engineering Services Contract, has awarded a contract to systems integrator StorExcel to build and deploy a solution combining StorNext, IPV’s Curator digital asset management system and Telestream’s Vantage media processing platform. The integrated solution will enable the Kennedy Space Center to centralize, manage and preserve all its digital content, including footage from high-speed cameras used during launches, video from surveillance cameras, production video, digital prints and still imagery. The StorNext-based CM&S has passed factory acceptance testing and is ready for deployment within a new data center being constructed at the Kennedy Space Center.
